Knitting Blues

Since I broke my baby toe….actually since Joy the cow broke my baby toe….I’ve been keeping it elevated. I can’t stand to just sit, so I’ve been working on this sweater project and have made a good amount of progress.

I had some beautiful blue lace weight yarn that I’d gotten from Jimmy Bean Wool, with no certain project in mind….not unusual for me…pretty normal.

Hello, My name is Diane, and I’m a yarnaholic!

It’s knit in one piece starting at the bottom and working the front and back at the same time then attaching the arms. Make sense? No?

The only problem is Jimmy Bean has had trouble getting their order filled with more of this beautiful yarn…so……I’m really hoping that I may not need another skein, but if I do…well, I just might have to wear a sleeveless sweater! Yes, it would help with a suntan…but it would be a bit warm!!!;)

Good news on the toe front. It’s starting to mend and hurts a lot less, unless I walk on it wrong or stretch my toes while sleeping! I made up some Comfrey salve since Comfrey is also known as Knitbone! It’s helping a lot.

We’ll see Sally….I do hope they get it in soon…cause I’m nearly finished except for the sleeves…right now, it’s looking like a one sleeve sweater!

I think this would look fabulous as a sleeveless sweater! Just pair it with a long sleeved shirt with a scoop neck and you’re ready for fall! That blue is gorgeous.

Thanks Renee & RabbitGirl! Pam, I just received my “kit” to start on a dish towel. Have to wait a couple weeks though till I get my car back from the collision shop.
