We’re Gonna Make It After All

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8MWdNG3wsw

My life is just a theme song, movie line, or musical diddy.  One right after another. Can’t help it, we just do that around here and frankly most people think we’re wacky!!! They don’t get it.

This morning I was counting the weeks till Spring! I can’t help myself….March 20 is only 7 weeks away!!! We’re gonna make it after all!!!

I had one ray of sunshine yesterday when the mail lady delivered this…

I’m not going hog wild this year….I have most of my seeds in the freezer where they are dormant. I’m not planning to start seeds until much later this year….big mistake last year with 2 foot high tomato plants and weeks to go before the last frost. And since my greenhouse didn’t get up….well, I don’t have anywhere to put hundreds of plants.

I’m happy with my decision to join Breezy Willow Farm’s CSA which will have their Organic Certification on March 1. After my health tanked, I realized that one woman can’t do it all. Since The Hired Hand has a full time stressful paying day job, and the kids are leaving very soon, it’s my deal as we so fondly like to say. And I have to figure out a way to do what I love and keep my adrenals in tip top shape!

My plan is to raise greens, salad mixes and eatable flowers for The Farm Market that I’ll let you in on soon. They can be raised effortlessly in the raised beds along with green beans. The new extended larger garden area will hopefully be no-till and I can put in tomatoes, cucs, corn, some potatoes and peppers. And anything else that is a must have, but is easy. Other than that…..I’m not fussing with it.

My health is more important than some ideas and besides I have the seed if I need them.

For now, I’m going for the Easy Button!!!

Diane,

That’s a great attitude! It’s so easy to get carried away which actually makes life more stressful. Thanks for the reminder!! I can’t wait to get my seeds!!!

Oh my, Brocade corn and Wildfire lettuce…sounds like you are going to have quite the exciting veggie patch this year….can’t wait to see them growing. And that video, ah yes, I had crush on Mary as a boy…don’t tell Mrs. H though or I will never be allowed to watch another one of the reruns.:)

I can get behind the easy button option, Diane! Sometimes we put way too much pressure on ourselves. We weren’t meant to do everything right by ourselves – it’s easy to forget that sometimes. This will be a low-maintenaince garden year for me, too. And I refuse to feel guilty about that! I’ve got emergency seeds in the freezer as well.

Thank you! I hope it helps too.
God bless you day.

Renee, I got the capsules for the ease. I just take 1-2 on an empty stomach 3-4x day, depending on how I’m feeling. My gallbladder let up after a couple days of 8 per day. Then I backed it down to 3-4 day. I hope you find relief soon. You too are a blessing to me Renee. Sometimes, I’m really not all gumdrops and lollypops! It might look that way….although I do try to find a ray of sunshine somewhere.

Diane
Just went and read about break-stone. Any suggestions for whether the capsules, tincture, or actual herb I can make into a tea would be best??

Renee - January 30, 2011 - 3:14 pm

I feel like God sent me to your blog today, Diane. Just hearing that someone else has had gallbladder issues from detoxing is helpful. I am going to look into the Breakstone and see what comes of it. I stopped taking everything last night including Cat’s Claw and Red Root to give my stomach and body a break.
We have thought alot about a Rife machine lately. There is a group who do this in Rochester MN which is 1 1/2 hrs north of us who might be of help in finding the right machine.
I very seldom find myself feeling like this. God used you today to bring me hope. It is not the first time I have been encouraged by your words. Bless you, friend.

Thank you !! I will now be singing that song alllll day long — its what I do. :D One song after another — always have something reminding me of a song for some reason…. LOL

Renee, you are in my prayers. I’m sorry you’ve had to suffer for so long. I found that Breakstone has been very effective for gall problems. http://www.wholeworldbotanicals.com/herbal_breakstone The same still happens to me with detoxing. I just did a major cleanse due to all the Rx and my gallbladder acted up again. I doubled up the Breakstone and it helped immensely. I’ve told my sis that you can do too much too fast…so maybe you need to slow down. I however went through my list of remedies for years before I found Dr Zhang’s and the Rife, which I think were my way out. However, it wasn’t fast or easy either. I think I’m on the backside of all of it though. No Lyme symptoms, no more Bartonella marks for years now, and it seems that the Malaria/Bab’s is dead also…no recurrence of hemolytic anemia which was our only marker!!! It seems that right now it’s my adrenals due to menopause…then the slippery slope, until I crashed and burned!

I’m glad that I posted this morning if only for you, my friend. Here’s a cyber hug {{{{{{ xoxoxoxo }}}}}}}}}}}

Your positive attitude continues to astound me, Diane. You have come back from severe health problems with Lyme, had good health once again, then malaria, almost died twice recently, and the list goes on…and yet…and yet you cotinue to be so hopeful, so upbeat…
I needed to find a post from you today. I am the opposite of you right now. Finally beaten down by Lyme and what it has done to my body. Seems as soon as one thing gets better another gets worse. Have been taking Burber for detoxing along with Red Root, Cat’s Claw and before Stephania. Added Pinella to the Burber and a week later my gallbladder is causing me pain and irritation and now my stomach too. The Burber and Pinella were helping the nerve pain, but my gallbladder can’t seem to handle the detoxing.
Enough of that….what I am saying is, I feel down right down in the dirt face full of it and wishing for Heaven to release me from all this. Not a good place to be. I know that tomorrow or the next day I will get back up and crawl or walk forward, but today I do not have it in me.
Your post gives me pause.
You remain in my prayers. Sure could use yours today too.
Don’t feel the need to post this unless you want to.
God bless
Renee
