Greetings and Salutations!

This morning Sophie and Izzy were anxious to greet their new cousins.

Everyone wanted to swap “Howdies”!

Even Joy the Jersey heifer knew that excitement was happenin and stuck her head through the gate to get a look at the new babies. She was sending her sweet greetings as well.

Of course Ginger had to check and make sure Mary Ann ate all of her breakfast. She was willing and ready for any left overs.

The boys were asleep this morning, but I woke them up to make sure everyone was thriving. They are.

They both have some messy bottoms that need cleaning. A good sign that all systems are a go and all the mechanisms are working fine.

The boys are very very very different from the girls. They don’t snuggle together or sleep together. They aren’t as bonded as Sophie and Izzy.

The boys love sleeping under the desk.

Mama is very full. The boys are nursing well, but she has more than they need right now. I’ll try to give her some relief this evening.

We’ve gotta keep those ears clean. Hey Mama, his bottom needs some attention.

So so sleepy. That being born thing takes a lot out of a little guy.

Sophie and

Izzy can’t wait till the babies can play!

Ginger is just trying to stay cool…not easy on a day like this with temps almost 100*!

She just wants everyone to leave her alone.
