Loss

Today, I mourn the loss of a friend. My friend and sister in Christ, Catherine Reynolds.

I met Cat on a Yahoo grp which she later co-moderated; Discussing Nourishing Traditions.

She was actually the first comment I ever got on my blog over 2 yrs ago. At the time is was something about suffering and worship.

“Some forms of worship only release their sweetest fragrance to God when offered from the fires of trials and adversity. The sacrifice or praise offered in times of trouble is especially sweet and pleasant to the King of Kings. This is worship from a posture of trust and faith instead of suspicion and doubt.” Finding Favor With The King by Tommy Tenney

I got to meet Cat face to face in MI at a Weston A Price Conference. She was one of my entourage in the fan club holding a sign with my name on it!

She was bubbly and energetic. She cared for others and gave of her self sacrificially.  She loved until it hurt.

She will be greatly missed.

She battled breast cancer and the last I heard the cancer was gone. I don’t know the details of her death, but what I do know is that she is hand in hand with her Saviour today. She is walking the streets of gold and eating from the banqueting table the delicacies that none could compare on earth. She’s waiting patiently for her loved ones to join her.

See you in a little while Cat!

So sorry to hear about your loss, but glad for her to be in the presence of Jesus! I hope that continues to give you comfort when you are missing her.
