My new blogging friend Laurie seems to think that I’m a beautiful blogger. I’m sweetly touched Laurie. I hate these things though because you’ve got to pick just a couple recipients….so here goes.

I’m gonna pass this baby onto 4 of my not so recently favorite bloggers (I first wrote floggers!)
- Gill on The Hill (my good friend Amanda Rose’s blog adventures living in a brothel…that ought to get your attention!)
- With My Own Eyes (one missionaries view from the inside out of relief work in Haiti) (I don’t know that he’ll respond to such an award being absolutely ragged from his tireless efforts, non the less he deserves 100 of these….the photos are wonderful and the stories move me to tears)
- Subsistence Pattern (I’ve only “known” Mr H for a short time, but I benefit greatly from his knowledge of gardening and sustainable living)
- Throwback of Trapper Creek (my “long time” friend N, who is my cow mentor!)
Boy here I was thinking I was done….7 things about me…..
- My cousin Mark and I share the same birthday…..October 16, I’m a year older. Anyone else out there born on October 16?
- I can touch my nose with my tongue. (something you always wanted to know…I’m sure)
- I love Indian food.
- I think Clinton and Stacy on “What Not To Wear” would have a cardiac watching me!
- I trained for a marathon in 2000. I got up to 7 miles before the bottom of my health fell out. I loved running!
- My nickname is “Doobie”…not the weed….but the “Do Bee” from Romper Room. My sisters still call me Doob or Shoob! Or Shoobie Doob! Even at 51!
- I love being called “Di”…and if you want to add Lady, that’s totally acceptable!
